Saturated in His Presence is for all those who've said, "Surely, between here and heaven, there just has to be more."
It is a collection of thirty poems written by Margaret Westphal, Christian teacher and author from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The poems are arranged in eight sections with introductions to explain the theme of each section. This poetry is a reflection of one spiritual journey in progress, as well as a source of rich insight into the concept of contemplative prayer and how it relates to spiritual revival.
The lost art of practicing the presence of God is not so much taught as caught through this poetry, written by one who conveys artfully, and at times prophetically, some of her experiences in seeking God. This unique collection of poems, images, and commentary could be used for personal devotions, read aloud, discussed in small groups, or given as an inspirational gift.
Joy Waits is two very different stories in one book. The first is a teaching about the joy of the Lord as revealed through one woman's spiritual experience.
The second tells how the same woman's husband became a pancreatic cancer survivor. While the world can only try to cope with stress, Christians can live "under the shadow of the Almighty" where "all things are possible" and miracles are normal because the supernatural and the natural flow together.
When the supernatural events in Joy Waits overlay the natural events in Russell's Story, the two read together bring more revelation about God than either could alone. Enjoy!
Spirit Dance is for Christians with any amount of honest spiritual hunger. This teaching is full of powerful revelations for believers who see themselves as anywhere from a little dry to desperate. (Although this book is written especially for Christians, it could also provide valuable information for any serious seeker who is not sure what to think of Christianity.)
Written in a style which is both casual and intense, logical and passionate, this book brings a unique approach to understanding the process of sanctification.
What is Spirit Dance? Theology? A Word of Prophecy? A Work of Art?
All of the above.
This study has been called warm and compelling. It takes a fresh scriptural look at how we can be changed by our relationship with Jesus. It shows how the Holy Spirit can connect us to the strength and beauty of God's grace.
If you're not satisfied with where you are in your walk with the Lord right now, then maybe it's time to re-examine your whole concept of how we as Christians relate to God. In our search for security and significance, we can go beyond lukewarm into the fire of God's love and discover the power of His grace.
